Aspen Grove Sunset
I like all trees but the Aspen is one of my favorites. We didn't have these beauties in the midwest, but here in Utah they are everywhere. I like how their bark can take on so many colors depending on where they are and what time of day they appear. In this piece, I used a toned background that helped unify the painting.
