Winter Sunrise
This painting was inspired by an early morning trip to California to visit family. We left very early and just as we were heading out of the mountains near our home, we were greeted with the sun rising on Mt. Nebo. I loved how the sun started traveling down the mountain immediately getting larger and more pink/orange as it rose. I knew then it would make a great painting.
