I am originally from southern Indiana, have lived in the midwest all of my life and just recently moved to the Columbus, OH area. After graduating from Purdue University in the 1970s, I worked as a commercial Interior Deisgner in the field of health care design. After marriage and children, I dropped out of the field and became a full-time mom. This gave me time to pursue art on a part time basis. While I am mainly self-taught, I took some studio classes while in college and continue to take workshops that interest me. Now that I am an empty nester, I have more time to devote to being creatively involved in the arts. I am a member of the Worthington Art League and the Columbus Colored Pencil Guild. I am also a member of the Colored Pencil Society of America. Many of my pieces have won local awards. I work in mainly three mediums; watercolor, pastel, and colored pencil. Much of my work is commissioned. For information on how to contact me, see my contact page.
